In 2007 Fellow Director, Colin Green joined the company and together they have expanded and shaped SLV into the successful and forward-thinking business it is today. We like to think of SLV being part of your team, rather than just another subcontractor.
The concept of SLV evolved through the demand for unbranded technical solutions in the corporate event arena. Having worked for many Event Management Companies over the years, MD Jim Williams identified the need for a trade-only supplier in the sound, lighting and visual world of corporate events.
An 'unbranded' service
With these points in mind, SLV limits its clientele to trade customers and offers a completely 'unbranded' service in order to provide a threat-free support service. This is especially beneficial to Event Management companies who often require sub-contractors to operate in an invisible manner under their own company umbrella. At SLV we provide crew who will wear our clients' branded corporate clothing on events. On occasions where this is not necessary, or indeed possible, all SLV clothing and equipment is branded with a simple pictorial logo and does not include any visible company or contact details.
