At the end of January 2006 we were asked by one of our partners to provide a solution for Continental Tyres annual conference. The main objective with this event was to create the right set for the day time conference but with the flexibility to change the layout and graphics for the evening party in a short space of time.

We used a View Light set which is ideal for attaching graphics to, is lightweight and easily moved around. Flanking the large central screen panel we had two movable curved sections. For the day time the curves were convex and for the evening they were concaved to give more space for the band. Two completely separate sets of panels and graphics were used to create this simple but effective solution.

The lighting was controlled from a Hog Echelon desk using 10 Chroma banks behind the set, 10 Mac 250s and 4 Mac 300s with some profiles out front. We also produced 4 custom Continental gobos for the Macs which were used to great effect around the room. The day time conference was a huge success and the evening party was fun packed event from start to finish.
